FLAG VISIBILITY

HT’s high visibility orange flags are usually easy to spot, even under the most difficult conditions, but you can improve their visibility under certain conditions.  During the day, try using a black permanent marker to “paint” over half the flag—the contrasting black and orange shows up well against the white background, improving visibility.

When fishing during low-light conditions or at night, try adding a strip of reflective or glow tape to the flag—a simple swipe of a flashlight beam will help locate your flags in a hurry.
